The following information should answer most questions regarding Ohana House.  However, we are happy to provide any information that you should require so please do not hesitate to contact us.
Q. What is the maximum number of people allowed in the home?
A. 10 is the maximum number of people that can stay in Ohana House as licensed by Florida regulations.
Q. How far is Ohana House from the theme parks?
A. Ohana House is 3 miles from Disney’s Animal Kingdom and just a few more miles to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and Downtown Disney.  All parks are within a 5 to 10 minute drive.  We are located approximately 15 minutes from Sea World, 20 minutes from Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, 60 minutes from Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center, Tampa and Busch Gardens.
Q. Do I need to send a deposit with my completed rental agreement?
A. Yes, a 25% deposit is required to hold your reservation.  The balance is due one month prior to your arrival.
Q. Do I need to pay a security deposit?
A. Yes, a $300 fully refundable security deposit is required on all bookings.  Upon inspection on the home it will be returned within 20 days.
Q. How do we gain access to Ohana House?
A. Once you have paid in full, you will be sent a home information packet which contains the security gate code for Sunset Lakes and the front door key code for Ohana House.  There is no need to stop anywhere for key pickup, you may go directly to the house.
Q.  What are the check-in and check-out times?
A.  Generally check-in is at 3:00pm and check-out is at 10:00am.  Earlier and later times may be available and if they are, we’re happy to accommodate you.  However, if your arrival day directly connects with another party, these times must be adhered to.
Q.  Is the home professionally cleaned?  I worry about cleanliness.
A. Yes Ohana House is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival.  If you wish, a cleaning can be arranged during your stay at an additional cost.
Q.  Can I smoke in Ohana House?
A. No, Ohana House is strictly a non-smoking property.
Q. Can I bring my pet on vacation?
A.  While we are pet lovers, Ohana House has a No Pet policy.
Q.  I have always stayed at hotels.  What is the difference staying at Ohana House?
A.  For the same price as one hotel room, one or two families can stay in an 1800 sqft. home complete with your own private pool and game room.  Ohana House is superbly equipped to make your vacation unforgettable.
Q.  Are linens and towels provided?
A.  All linens for the beds are provided. We provide towels for use in the villa and at the pool. We ask that these towels remain at the villa. If you plan to visit the water parks or the beach, please bring your own beach towels.
Q. What happens if we have any problems or questions during our stay?
A.  We have local managers that are available should anything arise during your vacation.  Their contact information will be provided in your Home Information Pack and is also readily available at Ohana House.
Q.  I do not know how to care for a swimming pool and is it heated?
A.  Our managers care for the pool weekly cleaning and balancing the chemicals for your swimming enjoyment.  The pool is heated, free of charge, to approximately 84 degrees.  However, cold winter temperatures may cause the pool water to cool.  Please us the solar heating blanket if it is out during your stay.
Q. Can I park my RV at Sunset Lakes?
A.  Yes, you may park your RV in the parking are adjacent to the Tot Lot play area.  This is located across the street from Ohana House.  Parking is not permitted on the streets at Sunset Lakes.
Q.  What does self-catering mean?
A.  Self-catering means that Ohana House is equipped for all of your family needs, but you will have to provide food, toiletries, toilet tissue, trash bags, and the like.
Q.  What is a Disney Diamond Lot Parking Pass?
A.  This is a parking pass that will allow you to park in special spaces reserved near handicapped parking.  You still have to pay Disney’s daily parking cost, but present the Diamond Lot Pass and follow the blue lines painted on the lanes up close to the park entrance.  No waiting for trams, walk right in.
